As a frequent FaceTime user with my iPhone, am new to duo. Second video I've watched that doesn't tell you how to dial a number and then CALL it. Mine doesn't come up with a call/disconnect button. Am I not totally connected?

I'm here because I got woken up by a call from the app I didn't know I had or what it was. When I went to check after what number it was since it didn't give me a name it asked me to configure and accept things..🤔 who tried to video call strangers. Could be wrong number or scam. Unless names don't come up, I don't get this. It was written numbers.. anyhow. Maybe il accept and go see and give an update lol🤷
I don't quite understand why they need to make Google Duo when they already have Google Hangouts. That is very similar to saying let's buy a house because we already have a house.
